Meet your real estate matchmaker: Julia Hamilton

Julia Hamilton grew up in Northwest Indiana and moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University. She holds a degree in Communications. In addition to being a licensed realtor Hamilton is co-owner of Just Wallpaper Chicago and a community partner and member of the Berwyn Development Corporation.

"As a realtor I know that great style gains the most interest in listings and allows them to sell faster and for more money," she says. "Just Wallpaper's objective is to align style, timeline and budget for any space. My love of wallpaper and being a realtor really goes hand in hand."

Hamilton's career began as a make-up artist. Her training and people skills led to a career in corporate cosmetics. She worked for several large cosmetic brands and notably Anastasia Beverly Hills where she worked and learned directly from the founder and entrepreneur. This experience honed her skills as a leader, negotiator and as someone who can achieve specific goals. Hamilton developed advanced skills in public speaking and marketing for events which precisely translates into selling homes. She knows how to communicate with buyers, sellers and other realtors as part of a deal.

Hamilton applies the lessons learned both in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur to her latest love, real estate.

"I love working with people to demystify the industry and achieve their goals. Whether that is first time ownership, upgrading, or investing, it's about matching people and properties. Becoming a homeowner myself was life changing and I want to show everyone how it's possible." says Hamilton.

Real estate was a natural progression given Hamilton's devotion to design and aesthetics. She is an architecture and interior design enthusiast who loves homes--not just buildings but homes. Licensed through Coldwell Banker, she can connect with and communicate to local agents anywhere and refer clients in any state.
